THE BOOKS ARE HERE!

I love this photo because it shows the contributions of three talented artists: Connie Elizabeth Swed, who did the sketch of Princeton founder Royal Treat; Mike Hopkins, graphic artist who did a downtown map for the book and provided the cover photo; and photographer Mary Catanese, who brought it all together. Thanks, all!

“Bartel’s History of Princeton, Volume I: From the New World to the New Deal” is now available at two locations:

  • Daiseye, 525 West Water Street, 920-295-3481. You can also order books at daiseye.com (keyword search Princeton).
  • Short Street Market, 427 West Water Street, 847-264-0238. Like Daiseye, Short Street Market can also be found on Facebook.

Please shop local and support our small businesses in these very difficult times.

If you are uncomfortable shopping in person or ordering online, I will provide free delivery within 54968 to followers of my blog, people who follow the Princeton Facebook pages where I post, and members of the Princeton Historical Society. I will not, however, accept credit cards or make change, so please checks (made out to Roger Bartel) or exact change only. (Book is $30 plus 5.5 percent sales tax = $31.65.)

To arrange a delivery, send an email to editor@princetonhistory.com with number of books you would like, address and phone number. Thanks!
